YOUR ROLE

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (F/M/D), you will work closely with our backend, frontend, UX/UI teams, and product managers to design, implement, and optimize scalable and robust software solutions. You will play a key role in building innovative software solutions that meet our client's needs and drive our organization's success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable IaC

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements

Analyze and optimize systems for maximum performance, scalability, and maintainability

Write clean, well-organized, and maintainable infrastructure as code following industry best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support to internal teams as needed and implementing appropriate solutions

Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall code quality and best practices

Take part in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in the DevOps engineering domain, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of Nextaim's development processes

Make yourself redundant through automation

YOUR PROFILE

At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, preferably in the software development industry in a senior role

Strong proficiency in modern DevOps technologies and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform and Shell Scripting

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices

Experience working with agile methodologies and project management tools

Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in agile environments

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are a bonus
